Our Story

S&F Custom Creations began with a simple curiosity and an unexpected gift.

It all started when I, Shanawaz, became interested in creating personalized items for myself. Whether it was custom clothing, decals for my car, or adding a personal touch to everyday items, I found myself constantly researching machines, materials, and design ideas. Every time my wife, Fatema, and I walked through stores like Walmart, I would inevitably find myself browsing the crafting section, comparing machines, vinyl, and accessories.

In May 2024, Fatema surprised me with my very first machine: a Cricut Joy. Small in size but packed with potential, it opened the door to a whole new creative world. I immediately started personalizing items around our home—creating labels for my wife's spice jars, making decals for my car, and designing custom t-shirts for family members.

Not long after, an opportunity came up to participate in a local bazaar at our mosque. What started as a simple idea quickly turned into something much bigger. Within a matter of weeks, we brainstormed products, designed a logo, created a brand name, and officially launched S&F Custom Creations.

For weeks, we spent countless evenings designing, planning, testing, and creating products ranging from personalized apparel and water bottles to household items and gifts. Seeing people connect with our creations and support our small business was an incredible experience.

Following the success of our first bazaar, we decided to turn our hobby into a side business. As we introduced new designs and expanded our product offerings, the support we received from customers continued to grow. It became clear that our little Cricut Joy had taken us as far as it could, and it was time to invest in larger equipment and new tools that would allow us to bring even more creative ideas to life.

With each new machine came new possibilities, new products, and new opportunities to grow.

Today, two years later, we're proud to officially launch our website and continue this journey with customers from all walks of life. What began as a thoughtful birthday gift has grown into a family-run business built on creativity, quality, and the joy of creating something truly personal.
